This workshop introduces the credit intents, key elements, main requirements, and reference standards of the Green Building Design and Construction (BD+C), or major commercial LEED rating systems. Workshop participants will gain a solid understanding of the core concepts and strategies and get indepth understanding of the various LEED credit categories and essential credits as well as learn to recognize the differences between each rating system (NC, CS, and Schools).The workshop prepares attendants to plan for key considerations and requirements of the LEED certification process and for taking the LEED Accredited Professional and LEED Green Associate exam.

This is the third session of LEED workshops offering most detail but not requiring prior knowledge or attendance of previous modules.

knowledge and project experience

•Participant workbook, and glossary of key green building definitions.

•Continuing education for 7 hours reported to AIA and CSI.
