On the 9th of December 2021 the Bulgarian green building council and the Association of commercial building owners in Bulgaria started a partnership to create a working group on the following topics:

 - Environmental, Social, and Governance Analysis with emphasis on the ecological aspects

 - LEED, BREAM certification - new requirements / post COVID/​

- Tax initiative for /pre/certified buildings, local taxes and incentives - proposals for joint work between the Bulgarian green building council and the Association of commercial building owners

- Landscaping ordinance - compensatory landscaping, proposals for joint work to improve the existing legislative frame

BGBC representatives - Chairman Mr. Ivan Zaykov, board member Arch. Vessela Valtcheva-McGee and Arch. Kiril Velkovsky spoke about the aspects of sustainability, the performance of ESG analysis for company portfolios and the recent innovations in high energy efficiency in buildings.
