Baumit Bulgaria EOOD was founded in December 1995 as a 100% subsidiary of Schmidindustriе Holding, Austria, and has been developing steadily and sustainably on the Bulgarian market for more than two decades, introducing new technologies. It has quickly become a leading company in the market of thermal insulation systems and machine plasters in Bulgaria. The product range of Baumit Bulgaria includes: thermal insulation systems, pasty plasters and paints, masonry mortars, base coats, glues for tiles, machine plasters, floor screeds and selfleveling screeds, base plasters, dry concrete, garden and landscape products, and others. Baumit Bulgaria EOOD has two plants for dry construction mortars – one in Elin Pelin and one in Yambol, with a total capacity of 300,000 tons. The company's base in the town of Elin Pelin also produces pasty plasters and primers.
