BGBC participated as official partner of the The City Media Group in the Office Investments & Workspace Forum 2023

On the 6th of April took place the 2023 edition of the Office Investments & Workspace Forum, organized by The City Media Group. For the second consecutive year BGBC was an official partner of this event on the topics of modern office buildings.

This year, the forum once again brought together representatives of leading IT/BPO companies, office developers, investors, consultants, architects, workspace designers and other professionals to explore new trends in office space and share their perspectives.

​

Our team was represented by our Chairperson, Ms. Adina Welsh, and by Arch. Vesela Valcheva-McGee, member of the Board of BGBC.

Adina Welsh participated in Panel 1: Defining new generation prime office: new generation office buildings - structural changes, the market and new dimensions of quality, sustainability, flexibility and services. Ms. Welsh focused on the desire and need for developers to offer their tenants high quality office space that continuously follows the changing sustainability criteria and the immediate consequent higher garbage fee:

“ Development of green certified buildings must be stimulated with better taxation status. Same can be said for retrofitting older buildings - where investment and engineering creativity are put to the test.”

 

We also had the opportunity to listen to our other representative - arch. Vesela Valcheva-McGee in Panel 3: Shaping the future:  the hybrid work model and its effect on organizational culture, work environments and office spaces. As a part of the discussion she debated the place of office spaces in the current world of digital nomads.
